swiss-academies award for transdisciplinary research – save the date!

We are pleased to inform you that the td-award for excellent transdisciplinary research projects will be allocated soon. The Award Ceremony will take place within the framework of the international Transdisciplinarity Conference 2010 at the Uni Bastions in Geneva on
Thursday, 16 September from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

td-conference 2010 - CALL for proposals, deadline 3 May 2010 (pdf)

Implementation in Inter- and Transdisciplinary Research, Practice and Teaching

The major aims of the td-conference 2010 are:

to present and critically discuss theoretical, conceptual and methodological models and ‚tool kits’ for implementation strategies;
to learn about practical experiences with implementation in different scientific and social contexts as well as in various professional fields;
to highlight achievements and challenges for effective implementation not only in research but also in education;
to collectively forge theories, concepts and methods for integrating theory and practice and thus
to forge synergies between researchers and practitioners of various professions, NGOs and grass-root movements.

We kindly ask you to submit proposals for either paper, poster or workshop sessions.

td-award 2010 - CALL for application, deadline 2 April 2010 (pdf)

Outstanding transdisciplinary research projects based at Swiss universities can apply.
The award of CHF 75,000 is provided by the Stiftung Mercator Schweiz. It must be used for a follow-up project by the winner or the winning team.
