On the occasion of the "Swiss Inter- and Transdisciplinarity Day", the winners of the swissacademies award for transdisciplinary research (td-award) will be honoured.


The swiss-academies award for transdisciplinary research (td-award) is given every other year in recognition of outstanding transdisciplinary work according to the criteria developed and published by the td-net.

 

The last td-award was given in 2010. See "Awarded projects" for details.

Thanks to the Mercator Foundation Switzerland we can offer the td-award another two times. The application and selection procedure will be announced with the call in November 2012. Further information will be published on this page.



2013 | 2015

 

New:

The td-award will be given for excellence in 3 categories:

 

  1. CHF 50'000 - distinguished achievement
  2. CHF 20'000 - early career achievement
     
  3. CHF _5'000 - life-time achievement (nomination)

 

 

Eligibility requirement

Both, individual researchers or research teams are eligible to apply. To participate, the main applicant must show evidence of a link to Switzerland by meeting one of the following conditions:

– Professional occupation or research work in Switzerland

– Studying in Switzerland (PhD or post-doc)

– Swiss nationality

 

Graduates of universities and universities of applied sciences or other research institutions are allowed to apply for the Young Scientists’ Prize (Early career achievement), provided they meet the general requirements for participation and graduated less than five years ago.
