In an era of digitalization and climate change, new questions are revolving around the issue of knowledge and expertise in sustainability politics. The emergence of new information and communications technologies (ICTs) and increasing skepticism in (scientific) experts have fundamentally changed the dynamics of knowledge production and circulation in society.

Special Issue on Participatory Agenda-Setting for Research and Innovation, European Journal of Futures Research

Deadline for abstract submission: 29 March 2019

This special issue will collect theoretical contributions as well as empirical papers regarding cases and methods of participatory agenda setting activities to map international progress in this upcoming field of research and practice. The editors invite contributions from several disciplines and interdisciplines including futures studies, foresight, technology assessment, science and technology studies, design, innovation management as well as adjacent fields. Transdisciplinary contributions are encouraged.
