The Swiss Inter- and Transdisciplinarity Day 2018 is co-organised by the Network for Transdisciplinary Research (td-net) of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences together with the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC) at EPFL.

We are inviting contributions that explore and reflect experiences and visions how digitalisation can be devised for inter- and transdisciplinary research and education in a meaningful way, discuss experiences, chances and challenges, and critically reflect the relation between digitalisation and inter- and transdisciplinarity.

What does digitalisation mean for co-productive modes of research and teaching? Where and how can digitalisation enhance or deepen collaboration, connect disparate actors, make interaction more tangible? Where does digitalisation lead to extractive modes of knowledge production, where does it hinder concrete (inter)action?

We invite contributions addressing “Inter- and Transdisciplinarity in a Digital World” from all thematic fields and research cultures. We particularly welcome contributions from inter- and transdisciplinary teams.

FORMAT

Poster and speed-talk: poster abstracts will be reviewed and the selected ones will be published in the online programme. The posters will be exhibited during the entire day and parallel speed-talk sessions will allow to present the poster highlights.

Please prepare your abstract using our template (available here) and do not exceed 500 words in total.
