Winner Project: «eDiversity - The Legal Protection of Cultural Diversity in a Digital Networked Environment»
The project was directed by Prof. Dr. Christoph Beat Graber from i-call, the research center of international communications and art law at the University of Lucerne. It was an integral part of the first phase (2005-2009) of the NCCR Trade Regulations. The project was selected as the winner for its integrative, timely and path-breaking intervention in the field of media regulation concerning the protection and promotion of diversity of old indigenous as well as very new cultural expressions.

Shortlisted Projects 2010
The two shortlisted projects were, in alphabetical order:
BiodiverCity – Ecological and Social Values of Urban Nature
directed by Dr. Marco Moretti from the Swiss Federal Research Institute WSL in Bellinzona for its participatory and innovative approach to the complex issues of urban biodiversity and the high potential for global application of its results.

Therapeutic and Sensory Garden at the RehaClinic Zurzach
directed by Prof. Dipl. phil. II Renata Schneiter-Ulmann from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences for its excellent inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration between researchers, practitioners and patients to develop therapeutic gardens as a common good.

Honorary Award 2010
In 2010, in addition to the winner and the shortlisted projects, the td-net honours the life-long engagement in transdisciplinarity of Prof. em. Dr. Thomas Bearth from the University of Zurich, above all his commitment to the international initiative LAGSUS (Language - Gender - Sustainability) which was carried out in often adverse political circumstances in Indonesia, the Ivory Cost, Uganda and Namibia.
