Hybrid Talks zum Thema »Blick & Perspektive«

Das durch unsere Augen Gesehene, das, worauf unser Blick fällt, beeinflusst sowohl unsere Vorstellung des umgebenden Raums als auch die Wahrnehmung unseres Standorts und unserer Stellung in der Welt. Der Blick ist somit alles andere als neutral und kann durch Kunstgriffe in die eine oder andere Richtung gelenkt werden. Wie schaffen es Bauten und Stadtgefüge, nicht nur einen Raum zu gestalten, sondern auch gesellschaftliche Ideen oder gar Machtansprüche zu vermitteln? Wie kodiert der Blick die Außenwelt für unser eigenes Gedächtnis? Und was ist unsere Perspektive ins All bzw. was nimmt unser Blick aus der Ferne der Galaxis wahr? Diesen und anderen Fragen werden wir im Zuge der 28. Hybrid Talks nachgehen.

Hybrid Talks XXIX zum Thema »Intelligenz«

Intelligenz ist ein Begriff, der als Teil jeder Wissenschaft Verschiedenes impliziert und dennoch selten explizit behandelt wird. Dies mag der Mehrdeutigkeit des Begriffs geschuldet sein, der in der Philosophie sehr verschieden gehandhabt wird als zum Beispiel in der Forschung zur Informationsverarbeitung biologischer Systeme. Ist Intelligenz der persönlichen Identität immanent oder lässt sie sich äußerlich erfahrbar machen? Äußert sie sich im kreativ-schöpferischen Prozess oder durch strategische Auseinandersetzung mit der Umgebung? Wieder einmal stehen viele Fragen hinter dem Thema der Hybrid Talks und SprecherInnen verschiedener Disziplinen werden sich um Antworten bemühen.

SWIFCOB 18: « Les services écosystémiques: du concept scientifique à la mise en pratique »

La nature contribue de multiples façons à la prospérité et au bien-être humain. Les individus, la société et l’économie profitent, le plus souvent gratuitement, des organismes, espèces et écosystèmes aptes à fonctionner. Voilà une vingtaine d’années que la science a créé le concept de «services écosystémiques». Entretemps, ce concept a été intégré dans des stratégies politiques, en Suisse également. Son application pratique est toutefois encore limitée. Avec le congrès SWIFCOB 18 du 9 février 2018, nous voulons contribuer à clarifier où et comment le concept de service écosystémique devrait être mis en pratique en Suisse à l'avenir.
